I remember when I was a kid, I was addicted to a Black Cherry soda (I don’t remember which brand), but I had to have it at every meal. Talk about blast from the past.

Looks: Perfect cure with a good trim. Covered in crystal. Lime green that sparkles under LED.
Smell: It really smells like cherries. This is the only place I notice any kind of cherry infusion.
Taste: Super sweet, no real fruit undertone, almost like rock-candy.
Buzz Type: Heavy indica buzz, really pleasant, almost numbing.
Buzz Length: Short – about 1 hour.
Overall: The only thing dragging this strain down is the short high that it gives. Based on look and smell I thought this would be a knock-out. Oh well. –H1JACK3R

mmmm this looks and sounds great. i wouldn’t consider an hour to be too short a buzz to be honest. I mean some people rate the buzz as long at like 3 hours, but honestly, i have never had a spliff and been stoned for 3 hours, I’d consider 2 hours to be a really long high. stuff I’m smoking at the minute is called king kush, but it looks and tastes like it’s been cropped early, it gives a nice buzz, but I’m rolling a joint every half an hour if i want to stay stoned :/

Nice review as always, and to bad that the high was so short. Maybe picked a bit early? Looks good though, but the only Black Cherry that I’ve ever seen was the B.C. created by Subcool a little while back. It looked nothing like this though. Hope you can find a better batch as it sounded good except for the length that is.

short highs are usually a result of harvesting early when the trichomes were still clear and cloudy.

Harvesting too early can cause a short buzz, but if the trychs are cloudy, it’s mature. When the trychs turn amber, they are degrading at that point. Now amber trychs that are degrading, give a stronger, longer high,but it is more cloudy and unfocused. I know this subject is mostly a matter of personal preference, but I bet if most people had a chance to smoke a bud that taken just before they turn amber, and then smoke a bud that was taken before they turn, I think most people would enjoy the high on the stuff that was taken earlier. This looks a little premature. Even the hairs look like they are lighter in color than they should be. I don’t know why I said all that?? What the hell was that I was just smoking??????……..

funny thing happened just now. i walked into the corner store and see one 12 pack left of ‘NEW’ Cherry Crush. didnt kno it even existed until 20min ago. obviously i took it. tastes great warm. probably even better cold

Definitely a heavy indica buzz and great taste, Indica dom. hybrid I’d say.. definitely agree that it should have been left a little longer but it still looks fire! I agree that there is a time that you want a short buzz! But then again that’s assuming that you have a med stash..

Black Cherry soda sounds great. All of the TGA strains kick ass. The strongest strains I’ve tried are AK47, Romulan, Platinum OG and Pink kush.
