Price: $15/gram, $35/eighth
Looks: Collosal-sized, dark green nugs with light green bases entangled in vibrant orange hairs. It’s not quite so frosty on the outside, but extremely sticky on the inside and leaves my fingers coated in sticky stinky crystals. I came across a pod-like bud or 2 when ripping apart the bud– no seeds though. Nice, tight, trim showing off the impressive bud to leaf ratio even more so. Looks are deceiving, though, as the buds are hiding harsh pods inside.
Smell: A tad more of a pungent, piney, smell with less fuel stench than your typical OG. Not too loud of a smell, but potent once you break the nug up or put your nose really close.
Taste: Burns with a little bit of a sizzle from bowl to bowl. On a perfectly packed bowl, the flavor is a smooth, pungently refreshing, piney taste. A harsh bowl adds a bit of a harsh spice but burns to a white ash.
Buzz Type: With a couple harsh bowls, it felt like there was some pressure in my head reminiscent of a headache. It built up and then faded off with a little bit of time. It still had a heavy, couch locked, high that didn’t quite tranquilize me completely, but left me feeling fairly sedated.
Buzz Length: Medium – Long. 45 minutes to an hour and 30 minutes. With a few bowls I was feeling pretty terminally tranquilized.
Overall: It’s fairly common to find pods such as these in OGs. This one was fairly easy to pick apart and left me with an enjoyable smoke afterwards. Not my favorite OG, but a good try nonetheless. Without the minor issues it would have been close to a perfect smoke. Smells great and looks monstrous. It tastes the way it smells, and the high’s the same as it looks in a perfectly podless bowl that is. –BipolarHighRoller

@Larry those are under developed seeds that you get in Haemaphrodite weed. This means that the plant has both sexual organs, and therefore can pollenate itself. Sometimes this happens because if feminised seeds, or when you have overgrown a plant…there is pages that could be written but that is the general gist of it.
A pod is what a fully formed seed has grown inside. Naturall, when the seeds are ready to grow, these pods pop open and the seeds fall out onto the ground. Sometimes you get structures on the bud that look a lot like seed pods, but when you actually open them, or grind the weed, you discover that they are in fact empty. This is my layman understanding, and I hope it helps.
@BipolarHighRoller $35 and eighth seems very reasonable for this. Am I right in thinking Tahoe OG, Buddah OG and Buddah Tahoe OG are all the same strain? I bought this strain in Amsterdam recently and it was genuinely one of the only strains that impressed me!! AMERICAN GENETICS FTW!
