Caviar Gold
Genetics:
Blue Dream Bud Dipped in Oil
From:
Green Cross Collective (Dispensary - Bakersfield, CA)
Rating:
4.
A
Type:
Honey Bud
Price:
$20/gram
Looks:

The smaller nugs I received were dense but easily broken down.  You can tell this was dipped in some kind of Oil, as it has a bright yellow tint to it in the sunlight.  When you’re in a poorly lit room it almost looks black/purple.  There’s also a good amount of kief covering the surface of the lil nuggets.

Smell:

With the first whiff, you get a strong citrus smell.  To me it smells like a musty orange grove, with a hint of BHO.  At the end I got a slightly fruity hint of Blue Dream that we’re all used to.

Taste:

A strong hash oil taste and nothing much else.  A lot of my friends say they tasted a hint of fruitiness.

I was surprised that it didn’t catch fire like fireworks after I sparked the bowl, as it had a strong BHO that I’ve encountered with improperly purged waxes or oils.

Buzz Type:

After a good fat rip out my bong I felt strong pressure on my temples.  It felt almost as if I was wearing a headband but this soon was taken over by waves of relaxation that would be great after a hard day of work or just to put you to bed.

Buzz Length:

2 hours.

Overall:

I’m not a regular here at Green Cross, but I might if they keep up the quality and quantity.  I walked in just expecting to get an eighth of some Diablo OG, but instead I got the eighth which was 5 grams, and a fat gram of this “Caviar.”  After I read about it in the forum section of MR I had to try it.  Also the bud tender said the actual bud itself was Blue Dream. –Dank!

Nice pick up for Bakersfield! I have had these buds in 2 spots in SoCal-1 I WOULD NOT recommend, the other was from H.O.K., but they aren't accepting any new patients at this time…
This sounds like the same fat buzz length from H.O.K.'s honey buds also, making me wanna hit them up after work today! ;)

@tinatoker lol I get that lot, but like I've said before Bakersfield is starting to gain recognition in the mmj world. Atleast in central Cali. you'd expect it from an agricultural filled city, but now were growing the good stuff haha ;)

Sadly I might be forced to travel 30-40 min to get my meds once these shops close in town!

You don't know how lucky you are then…my average drive to the "closest" spot for me is at least an hour from home or 40 minutes from work. Either one is hell on the car, etc. but you know what I just make each trip worth it! No just an 1/8th of this or that-WAYYYY MORE on each mission. ;)

So again, appreciate what you have while its still there!~Peace and Smoke Always, Tina~

Cool stuff! Nice review Dankk – was it at all difficult to handle and/or break up?

Actually it was quite easy to break apart, but I'd usually just throw a chunk in the bong and smoke it like that. You'd think it would be sticky but seems like te kief absorbs some of the oil also. So therefore burns and breaks down better.. Hopefully this stuff roll in again! They had a fat cola must had weighed a quarter zip. Next time ha :)

Not a single pic of the top of the bud? That's a little disappointing.
