Fortune Cookies From D4L Collective (Meangreenmartian)

4.5

Here is another Cookies cross for your enjoyment.  I think it’s a good one!  –Tokeahontas

Camera Used:
Sony
Strain Name:
Fortune Cookies
Genetics:
Girl Scout Cookies (OG x Durban....maybe x GDP)
From:
D4L Collective
Type:
Indica
Price:
$15 per gram
Looks:

Some of the tightest buds I have seen of late.  Would be nearly impossible to break this up by hand for a joint unless you had a whole lot of time on your hand.  Grinder weed for sure.  Looks are unbelievably frosted flowers as seen in the photos.  Very pretty.

Smell:

When broken I got some lemon skunk, musk, pine, mojito, and cheese.

Taste:

Doesn’t have the flavor of better cookie samples I have tried.  The flavor is awesome’ it’s just more OG dominant with pinesol and lemon flavors.  You don’t get the cinnamon or coffee cookie flavor like the more purple GSC types.  Other notes of tangy kush, earth, and sour cherry.

Buzz Type:

Huge lung expander.  It hits you fast and heavy from the onset of the high.  Lots of THC and potency in this sample that they advertised as top shelf.  Heavy feeling in the head and body….got a little overwhelming but I did overindulge in this stuff while writing this review.  Hard to focus on tasks due to the very powerful indica stone.

Buzz Length:

2-2.5 hours at least.  I didn’t want to smoke for another hour after that but the actual buzz lasted a little over two hours for me.

Overall:

This didn’t remind me of other GSC strains, but the story goes it’s mass produced cookies or bag seed from the original flowers hence the fortune.  This OG looking flower was serious flame that medicates the user heavily for a couple hours.  Excellent for pain relief, insomnia, and inflammation.  –Meangreenmartian

Looks good, almost looks like Animal Cookies, GSC x OG kush. I like the indica Dom. Buzz on your fortune cookie, my experience with bagseed gsc has sucked

super nice MGM! sounds like some awesome indica dominate strain, i love me some dense meds, but lemon skunk and cheese? i would have passed on this my self. the taste said it all, reminded me of some super lemon haze i had from 5Diamonds (long beach).

In my world, Afghanica is the proper name for the stout, broad leafed dank variety only found in Afghanistan. It is not from India, or elsewhere. I've read Robert Conell Clark's Master thesis, and his Hashish! book that make it very clear..a good read for the recreational smoker and botanist. Required reads.
