Grape Punch From Private Dealer (Demo11)

WOW – Demo11 has a couple of seriously tasty nugs for us today.

Grape Punch

Submitted By: Demo11 (Member and Editor)

Camera Used: Olympus FE-110

Name: Grape Punch – BOG Seeds

From: Private Dealer – Grower

Type: Indica

Grade: A+

Price: $300 cdn/ounce

Looks: Very dense, but dry and perfectly cured buds (dry on the outside, sticky towards the stem).  Bright green, nice frosting of THC.  Out of 28g every nug had no leaf, and was over 1g in weight.  Great bag appeal.

Smell: Now I have smelled some pungent delicious strains over the years, but nothing comes close to this Grape Punch. Smells exactly like grape Bubbalicious gum, but so overpowering.  It smells so damn good you just want to eat it.  My favorite smelling specimen of marijuana to date.

Taste: So smooth.  With a distinct grape bubblegum taste.  After inhaling and exhaling my first hit, it was like I had met the girl of my dreams.  The only way I can describe the taste is like this: Inhale – the smoke itself filling your mouth and lungs tastes sweet and grapey like the gum.  Exhale – so grapey and delicious.  Any kush I have tried thus far has nothing on this taste.  So pure and  amazing.

Buzz Type: Heavy indica.  One may think they call it Grape Punch because it smells so good, I can assure you… after smoking this marijuana you feel like you have been punched all over the body.  Very uplifting, took away my anxiety, also reduced my acid reflux.  The comedown is surprisingly light.  Laughing fits in public also happened 6/10 times smoking this strain.  I had to leave a restaurant because I was laughing so hard I started to cry.  This strain is heaven.

Buzz Length: MediumLong.  About 1.5 – 2 hours solidly baked.  Great daytime smoke, which is rare with strong indicas.  Another reason to be in love with this strain.

Overall: I thought I would always go back to kush as a favorite smoke… but once again BOG has blown my mind.  To anyone wondering what that means, he is a seed producer with – in my opinion – the best strains on the planet.  For me kush has taken a beat seat.  I’m in shock that more people do not grow BOG’s strains.  They are so delicious and the most profound medical marijuana experience I have ever had.  The smell, taste, appearance and medicinal effect are of the highest quality.  If you EVER come across any of BOG’s strains do not pass it up, it will change your opinion of what medical marijuana is. -Note on the pictures, was in huuuuge rush as my girlfriends parents made a surprise visit.  –Demo11

Grape Punch

I have not heard of BOG and after a little research see that his seeds were taken out of circulation for a time?  This review was submitted as “mostly Indica” but I found that the seeds are pure indica.  Also, this is the first time I have seen anyone mention acid reflux.  Good to know.  -Mrs. Chubbs

appartently BOG seeds stands for Busy Old Grower seeds. you will find more on the net. also, apparently, this is a quide from BOG himself on some basic cultivation tips.

    http://forums.mycotopia.net/cannabis/10010-bushy-old-grower-bog-s-way-cultivate-herb.html

however, i did read that apparently, he has written a book and made statements that any shops claiming a re stock in his seeds is untrue as he is no longer breeding them, but this could be old information.

Bushy Old Grower was a staple on Overgrow back in the day. He was one of the best ever. Great guy.

There are still seeds available out there through auctions and other ways.

    Google the strains:
    Lifesaver
    L.S.D.
    Blue Moon Rocks
    Bogglegum
    Bogbubble

Here is a link to his seed forum on ICmag.

Okay let me see GDP and purple haze aka Grapes in Oakland, CA or as “that dark” ok so whats the difference. I had purple haze in Oakland that was yellowish green when fresh and would get dark over time has anyone seen this purple I speak of. It gets darker with cure. Purple hues or a haze to it I guess. smells just like a grape swisher or philly.

I typed a long comment(big surprise there huh?!), and it got blasted into oblivion. Second time today, and I’m sober as a bell so…maybe that’s it! Not used to going this long without smoking. Need to roll some leaf cigs and start smoking! They have been curing as well as you can cure a leaf for over a month so they should not be too bad, but I just pray that I don’t get a headache!
One thing I did mention was that Sour Bubble is my fav strain from BOG, and many, many other peoples fav strain of all time so…that says a lot I would think huh?!

Demo11…Sick one by the way! This is one of the BOG strains that I have yet to try, but is at the top of my list! Looks and sounds awesome! Nice review for sure!

@kansas…I have some strains that change constantly over time in coloration as well as smell, taste, high from a good cure. This was a good example:Back in 95 or so there was this lime green super sticky nuggs that had a one of the sharpest smells ever to it. Made my eyes water, and my sinuses tingle, and twitch like mad, and I have no hayfever, allergies whatever so…anyways put the nuggs in a tuperware stick in the fridge for 24hrs and it’s like a magic trick!
Dark purple underneath tons of shimmering crystals that froze and dried hard as hell! The smell only got wors as well. It had no name so I started calling it the Twang as that is what it did when you smelled it, and again when you smoked it. TWANGS your brain! One of the most solid head feelings I have ever had from weed. Live my head injected with a halfassed novicane then put into a table vise and turned nice and snug ya dig?

@wheez…What the shit?!??! somehow I missed like ten comments before mine just now…uh…hu..huuh..hu..uh WHEEZ I would have killed for the dust bunnies under your table for sure! Well when your typed that I would have, but the Ganja Gods answered my prayers it would seem, because I just smoked some L.A.Woman that has me blasted! Only got a G but will last till tomar night if all in hitters so… This batch is sativa in flowering time and taste/smell, but looks and high are more indica right up front, but turns more sativa in effect after an hour maybe? then goes on to last for another hour and a half so it’s got some legs to it as almost nothing lasts that long thats not mostly sativa to me. It’s hard to find a long lasting indica high. Even harder to find one that is long lasting, and does not have a hard comedown/crash too it as well. Sativas of super strong highs are my fav as they hit me right more often then not. They have more genetic diversity to them IMHO, and with it comes more flavors and smells, many different highs and much more.
Ok I know this is not a debate on sativas vs. indicas so I will quit with that tangent, but…SIPO!!!

@kansas…Have you smoke the Super Lemon Haze yet? I think it works well with anxiety as it does for me. This is a new strain for that though. Now a tried and true strain? Demo11 got it right with the BOG strains working well with the Sour Bubble at the top of the list! Also on the list for anxiety are:Trainwreck, White Rhino, W.Widow, Chocolope, C99, Maui Wowie, pretty much all the golds from Central, and South America. Blue Dream, Kaia Kush, SSH, La nina, and tones more, but my all time fav is Trinity. OMG takes away my worst anxiety, and panic attacks in some people! Good stuff for sure man.

@kansas…By the way don’t sweat it man. I know it’s hard been there many times myself bro. It’s oldie, but a goddie:there are plenty of fish in the sea. So…go fishing! Oh and the AK’s that I have sen over the years have three main phenos I look for. They are; Grape Bublegum(rarest), Cherry(second in line), Meaty kinda like pepperoni, or chicharon(thats not spelled right I know), (most common).
All are bakers, but the Grape is the sweetest to me. The crusher is the good ole Meaty that has a bottom end that is citricy sickly sweet like Grand Maneriar(not spelled right either). Meaty will dunk your ass with a good cure to it. Sooo what does yours smell and taste like?
