Camera Used: Canon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS

Name: Master x OG

Genetics: Master Kush x OG Kush

From: Golden State Patients Association (DispensaryGarden Grove)

Grade: A-

Type: Hybrid (Indica Dominant)

Price: $20/gram, $45/eighth

Looks: The Master x OG was another BT recommendation and it had light green, knobby, spear-shaped nugs with vibrant rusted hairs emerging from the calyxes.  The buds have a serious manner about them, I think it is the hairs.  They were hefty and drizzled in chunky trichomes, with the majority of them being hazy with a light amber tint.  The buds were cured well and had a medium density to it that allowed the buds to bounce back after being squeezed.

Smell: The odor coming off these buds is hearty, having an earthy musk about them with just a small hint of butter.  The smell also has a separate tartness to it that came from inside the nug.  I cracked off a chunk of bud and a tart, skunky, pine aroma escaped and blasted my unsuspecting nose.  The smell was profound and that got me antsy to medicate.

Taste: The buds broke down easily by hand with very little loss of trichomes.  The bowl held the flame well and I soon had a chamber full of milk, which went down smoothly but did have some expansion.  The smoke first tastes of musk and earth, with the smoke being a touch crisp and airy.

Then a wowing buttery mint/eucalyptus flavor unravels with the smoke during exhale, with a strong helping of sweet lemon roaring out at the finish.  The finish was spectacular and the flavor reverberated through my lungs with a delectable creeping eucalyptus, tea, and lemon flavor that made my mouth water.   The smoke carried the awesome flavor until the bowl was cashed with only white ash remaining.

Buzz Type: This hit about a minute into the bowl, and the effects had me relaxed with a warm oozy feeling that sapped the activeness out of my body.  I wasn’t feeling lazy, but the effects made doing nothing feel so good.  My mind was still alert but I wasn’t into the problem solving or reading kind of mood, I was just chill.

My mood was generally happy with just a small bit of fogginess looming over my head, but it never really set down on my mind so I felt a weird lazy clarity that leads to the comedown.  The comedown will be felt, as it made me a bit tired but still able to maintain.  The eyes will shun away from the sun, so this is great for nighttime medication, or they day if you wear your shades.

Buzz Length: Long.  1 hour 45 minutes.

Overall: The Ldog is found of the Master x OG, as it packs flavor and has great effects that can be enjoyed at all times of the day.  Just be prepared to keep medicating during the day to avoid the minor comedown.  The buds were a touch dry, but that doesn’t keep the Master x OG from reaching the level of DANK!  –Ldog

I have a MK review in the queue too dude, and though you had a sweet OG cross with yours, I think you’ll find that we both honed in on the same traits. Great minds…blahblahblah ;)

This Master OG looks menacing, those fire red stigmas! Great review.

One thing I don’t judge when I write my reviews is the ash color at the end of a bowl..I should. I judge it when i’m smoking, however. It does make for a complete review.

Ldog, your reviews are priceless homey! You hit all the points any connoisseur would notice/want to know. Your definition of dank is dead on. Respect.

SoCal MK is an elite clone imo. Seems to always make fire hybrids as well.
