Wrapping up the day with some SFV OG!  Thanks MrTHC_420!  –Tokeahontas

Submitted By:
Strain Name:
SFV OG
Genetics:
I believe it's just a specific OG pheno from San Fernando Valley
From:
NRC - Natural Remedies Caregivers
Rating:
5.
A+. Very high quality
Type:
Heavy indica dom hybrid, I'd say 70-30
Price:
$70/quarter, $35/eighth, $10/g
Looks:

This OG pheno has a very bright green color with medium-dark orange hairs.  The trichomes are caked all over each nug I have.  They have a beautiful slight amber hue to them as well.  Very little leaf, but the ones that are present are a dark blue/green.  I’d rate the looks 9/10.

Smell:

This OG has a very pungent aroma that caught my attention.  It has a very loud lemony, fuely funk with a hint of a kushy pine.  Right when I pop open the container I get a burst of a dank funk that tickles the hairs in my nose.  I’d rate the smell 9.5/10.

Taste:

The flavor of this SFV is just as good as the smell.  It has a lemony, fuely funk, but with a slightly stronger sweet pine taste to it after you exhale.  I was shocked to taste such a sweet pine flavor.  I wasn’t expecting it because there was only a slight hint of it when I smelled it.  I’d rate the smell 9/10.

Buzz Type:

Right after you take a fat snap, you get a heavy pressure in your eyes and the indica buzz moves down your torso within a few minutes.

Buzz Length:

2 good hours off a few snaps

Overall:

This SFV OG was definitely a great OG pheno.  It had a heavy indica dominant buzz that I love in an OG.  The quality of these buds was amazing.  They had a great cure, smell, flavor, flush, and the trichomes were all over each bud I had.  I have nothing bad to say about this pickup, and for $10 a gram I can’t be any more pleased. I’d rate this strain a solid 9.25/10.  –MrTHC_420

sounds like a compassionate price for California. I haven't been following as much lately, so maybe things have changed, but it pleases me to see this

Nice price on that nug…People who call the core og's: tahoe, larry, and sfv indica are noobs..but I guess that makes 7 out of 10 dispensary owners noobs too. Enjoy your buds..they're sativa

Great price for my type of nug! I love the thick indica buzz and flavor of OG. I know one of the dispensaries here put it with the sativas, but the buzz always feels indica sided. Same dispensary told me Green Crack was full indica, so don't just believe labels. Smoke it, and FEEL it for yourself.

Everything one studies involves reading and researching, along with personal experience and immersement. Then there's a period where you throw out the BS and crap you don't need and isn't true.

yeah exactly, you gotta smoke it and feel the buzz, not read bs online. and yeah great quality for the price

Damn, NRC is providing high quality buds for such great prices. I wish I lived closer to SFV. I know everyone says SFV and Tahoe are sativa dom but every batch I've had of those two strains were always 60/40 indica dom..As far as the original OGs, I find Larry and Fire to be much more on the sativa side

yeah i always get a slight sativa buzz in any og i get. and yeah the og's that were out years ago seemed to have more of a sativa dom high
